La Bookeen è una casa francese da tempo attiva nel settore. L’hardware è interamente prodotto a Taiwan, il design ed il firmware è francese.  Una garanzia in quanto fra le prime ad entrare nel mercato e dei buoni prodotti molto venduti.
Il software, per come legge i pdf, è migliorabile.
